Leveraging Your Daily Routine for Success: My Journey Through 75 Hard Phase 1

Have you ever felt like there aren't enough hours in the day to accomplish everything you want? That was me, until I discovered the power of embracing a structured routine. Recently, I completed the 75 Hard Challenge, and now I'm diving into Phase 1, a journey that's transforming not just my daily habits, but my entire approach to life and work.

In the past 82 days, I've unearthed profound insights about myself, primarily realizing that a disciplined routine doesn't just keep me busy; it empowers me to achieve more in less time. It's all about mastering time management and holding myself accountable every step of the way.

So, what does Phase 1 entail? Well, it starts with not one, but two 45-minute workouts daily, with one session outdoors. This commitment not only jumpstarts my day but also instills a sense of accomplishment that propels me forward.

But it's not just about physical exertion; it's about nourishing my body and mind. That means adhering to a healthy diet, abstaining from alcohol, and staying hydrated with a gallon of water daily. And yes, even enduring a daily cold shower (not my favorite, but the benefits are undeniable).

But it doesn't stop there. Each day also includes reading 10 pages of a book, a practice that keeps my mind sharp, and meditation, which grounds me amidst life's chaos (even if I occasionally drift off into a nap!).

Yet, the true beauty of Phase 1 lies in the "8 critical tasks" of my choosing. These tasks are my compass, guiding me towards personal and professional growth. From spending quality time with each of my children to reaching out to brighten someone's day, these intentional acts enrich my life immeasurably.

Moreover, I've embraced podcasts as a daily source of inspiration and knowledge, delving into topics that fuel my personal and professional development. And of course, there's dedicated time for nurturing my coaching program and crafting new ventures—a testament to my passion for helping others succeed.

But my most favorite addition to my routine is daily journaling. It's a practice I've always admired but struggled to commit to until now. With the aid of a 5-year, 1-line journal, I've found a perfect balance of reflection and simplicity.

And let's not forget the importance of maintaining a social media presence. Not only does it foster connections and growth, but it also serves as a digital time capsule, capturing my journey and evolution over time.

Now, you might be wondering, how do I juggle it all? The truth is, it's not easy. It requires intentionality, discipline, and a whole lot of planning. But there are no excuses. It's a conscious decision I've made to prioritize my well-being and aspirations.
